I joined BCB in 2018 after being selected through an audition. As a dancer in the Middle East, this experience provided me with structured classes and a steady flow of projects, helping me grow both technically and artistically. During my time with the company, I participated in various performances and projects, which allowed me to explore different aspects of dance, from stage work to commercial opportunities. BCB also offered valuable experiences in professional settings, involving stage lighting, camera work, and more. One of the most rewarding experiences was being part of the company’s first full-evening performance, *Trespass*. Supported by the Solidarity Fund Switzerland, this three-act production was created during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite restrictions on physical movement, our choreographer and a group of six dancers, including myself, pushed boundaries to create a piece that symbolized hope and transformation. *Trespass* represented resilience, creativity, and the power of collective expression during uncertainty. My journey with BCB ended in 2022 due to my relocation and the political situation in Beirut, but it gave me the chance to reflect on my path as a dancer. I am now focused on seeking new opportunities for growth and artistic expression as a solo artist, aiming to explore my own style of contemporary dance.
